[IMPORTANT] Tradovate System Outage

Hi Trader,

We apologize for any inconvenience you are experiencing today, as Tradovate is having a system outage that is affecting both simulated and live environments. This issue is not isolated to Topstep. This issue is affecting ALL Tradovate LIVE brokerage personal accounts and ALL funding evaluation companies that provide Tradovate.

The following are a few examples of the Tradovate / TSTrader issues that we are aware of:

Inability to login
Orders being rejected and/or ignored
Unable to flatten/close out positions

We are in contact with Tradovate and will continue to communicate with you today, via email, as we receive information from them.

We want to make sure that your evaluation isn’t negatively affected and will follow up once Tradovate has resolved the issues with:

A code for a FREE Reset for EVERYONE.
Traders with a POSITIVE balance can “Delete-a-Day”. This is beneficial for any of the traders who are above their starting balance. We CAN delete today to keep you progressing towards the Funded Level.

We understand that with our reliance on third-party platforms, technical issues can happen at times that are out of our hands, but we’re committed to making this right. Please reply to this email if there is anything else you need.

To mitigate Prohibited Conduct, gambling behavior and exploiting the simulated environment, all trading accounts that have any trade day that exceeds 200 total contracts will be subject to review by our Risk & Compliance Team. If Topstep identifies trading activity that, in its sole discretion, relates to Prohibited Conduct, Topstep reserves the right to, delete the trading day and all profits, restart the account or close the account.
